With rounded tips and wedge-shaped bases. Flowers: Yellow, up to 1.5 cm diameter with 5 petals. Fruit and Seeds: Pods 10-25 cm long curved in a sickle-shape. Brownish green when mature. Opening to release shiny flattened brown seeds. Foul smell when damaged. Habitat: Disturbed areas, roadsides, waterways, pastures, crops. Distinguishing Features: Sickle-shaped downward-curving long slender seed pods distinguish from other Senna species.
