Open at sunset and fade by morning. Fruit and Seeds Ridged, dry 1 cm long capsules. Habitat Creeks, roadsides. Distinguishing Features Smaller and less hairy than Clockweed (Oenothera lindheimeri). Impacts Replaces native vegetation.
