Leaves Greyish-green scale leaves which cover stems and exude salt. Flowers Tiny, very numerous pale pink, along dense spikes. Fruit and Seeds Hundreds of seeds contained within the old flower parts. Habitat Roadsides, pastures, grasslands, riparian areas, wetlands, arid areas, coastal scrub.
