Stem: Covered in sharp yellow to red prickles. Leaves: Sticky, greenish to yellowish, 5-14 cm long with deep lobes. Hairy and with prickles on either side. Flowers: White or pale bluish-purple. Star-shaped typical nightshade with 5 petals and bright yellow anthers in centre. Fruit and Seeds: Berries which ripen to bright red. 1.5-2 cm diameter.
