Stem: Cylindrical, reddish, with long erect non-glandular yellowish hairs. Leaves: Palm-like compound of 5 leaflets 4-14 cm long in circular pattern. Flowers: White, funnel-shaped and rose-like with overlapping petals. Fruit and Seeds: Capsule with 4 valves up to 1.5 cm diameter, containing 4 triangular smooth seeds. Habitat: Forests, old gardens, roadsides, rainforests, cropping areas. Distinguishing Features: Distinguished from other Woodroses (Distimake species) by having long non-glandular hairs.
